It is always a pleasure and privilege for me to be part of our Samoan Catholic Community. Not only a certain sense of belonging but I also get the satisfaction by serving the community and by meeting people from different parishes both young and old.
As Christ himself told us to go out spread the Good News and serve one another.

• Educated at Sacred Heart Primary School Missionary Sisters of the Society of Mary at Safotu.
• 1953 attended Marist Brothers School, Mulivai, Apia, Samoa
• 1960 went St Joseph’s College, Lotopa, Apia, Samoa very first students at the college
• 1963 migrate to New Zealand to attend Marist Brothers Novitiate, Claremon, Ashburton, Timaru
• Didn’t succeed left novitiate 1965
• Got married started a family settled in Grey Lynn
• Four children, 10 grandchildren and two great-grand children
• 1970 bought a family home in Green Bay till now
• Joined Holy Cross Parish & Aulotu Samoa 1971 – 1998
• Represented Samoan Community on Diocesan Pastoral Council
• Held positions of president and leader of Sunday School whislt at Holy Cross
• Bestowed matai title “Seve” 1981 mother’s aiga
• 1998 joined Blockhouse Bay parish/Aulotu
• Elected president 1999 until now
• Representative on Parish Pastoral Council
• Bestowed matai title “Lealailepule” 2005
• Vice-chairperson A’ogaAso Sa Aoao 1986
• Bestowed matai title “Afuamua” 2007 father’s aiga
• President AoaoMalaeola at present time the position I have held three times with great esteem and honour starting at St Clare
• Have been part of executive for a number of years
